Crown, Max Power and Homage Inverter Prices

These brands are often chosen for backup and tighter budgets. A cheaper inverter can be a good fit, if you know what it cannot do.

Where these brands fit

Crown, Max Power and Homage are brand names that Karachi buyers meet when they ask for an inverter for backup. They are often priced below the large international hybrid brands, and they are often chosen for homes that mainly want power during load-shedding.

Max Power's own website lists inverter lines such as Suntronic and Voltas, and says its inverters are built for local grid conditions and offer dual MPPT inputs and a weatherproof case. Treat those as the maker's claims and check them on the datasheet.

The ranges of all three brands change from year to year. Ask for the exact model and read its datasheet instead of relying on the brand alone.

What separates a budget inverter from a premium one

Lower price usually means a trade-off somewhere. These are the usual places.

The grid export question

Many lower-cost off-grid and UPS-style inverters cannot send power to the grid. They are designed to run the house from panels and batteries. K-Electric applications go through a PPIB pre-qualified vendor and need an inverter data sheet and settings letter, so ask whether your model is acceptable before you buy. If you only want backup, this limit does not matter.

Checks before buying a budget inverter

A few checks avoid most disappointments.

  • Battery voltage. Many budget models use 12, 24 or 48 V. The battery bank must match.
  • Charge controller type. A built-in MPPT controller gets more from the panels than a PWM one.
  • PV input voltage window. Panels must fit it. Large modern panels have high voltage.
  • Pure sine wave output. Sensitive electronics and motors run better on it.
  • Overload rating. Check how long it can carry a motor start-up.
  • Warranty and repair route. Ask where it is repaired in Karachi.

Who should consider these brands

A budget inverter suits a home that wants fans, lights, TV and a fridge running in a power cut, and does not plan to export power. It can also suit a small shop with a modest load.

If you want a large air conditioner on solar, long outages and a path to net billing, a grid-capable hybrid is usually the better choice. Our inverter type comparison explains the three types, and the tubular battery page covers the usual budget battery pairing.

How warranty claims work with us

Crown and the other two brands are handled differently. For Crown, we offer a replacement for the full warranty period. If you make a claim, we replace the product and send the faulty unit back to the company. For Max Power and Homage, we file the claim with the brand and replace the part once the brand approves it. Repairs under warranty are done by the brand, and all other after-sales service is done by us.

Ask on WhatsApp

It depends on the model, the size and the dollar rate on the day. Send your load list and we will quote it.

Max Power sells several lines. Judge the exact model on its datasheet, the battery list and the warranty route.

Many cannot export to the grid. Ask the PPIB pre-qualified vendor whether the exact model is acceptable before you buy.

Many use tubular lead-acid batteries or lithium at 24 or 48 V. Check the battery voltage and the approved list for your model.

If you only want backup, it can be. If you want to run large loads or connect to the grid, a more capable inverter is usually better.

For Crown, we replace the product for the full warranty period and send the faulty unit back to the company. For Max Power and Homage, we file the claim with the brand and replace the part once the brand approves it. The brand does warranty repairs, and we do all other after-sales service.
