Solar Wholesale and Distributors in Karachi

We are not a distributor. If you are weighing a bulk purchase, this page explains the different kinds of sellers and how to check each one.

Where we fit

We sell and install solar systems ourselves, to homes and businesses in Karachi. We are not a distributor. Our work is selling and installing systems, and we do not hold ourselves out as an importer or an authorised distributor for any brand.

If you want to buy a large quantity, such as stock for resale, we are probably the wrong place to start. If you want a number of systems installed, tell us the quantity and we will say plainly whether we can quote it.

Distributor, dealer, installer

The words overlap in daily talk. These are the usual meanings.

Checks for a wholesale seller

Before you place a bulk order, check each of these in writing.

  • Authorisation. Ask for a letter or certificate from the brand that names the seller. Contact the brand to confirm it.
  • Stock origin. Ask where the stock was imported from and when. Ask for the import documents if the quantity is large.
  • Warranty route. Ask who honours a claim: the distributor, the brand, or you. Get the process in writing.
  • Batch details. Ask for model codes and serial numbers by batch, so that a fault can be traced.
  • Invoice and tax. Ask for a full tax invoice with the seller's registration details.
  • Storage. Ask how the stock was stored. Panels stacked wrongly or left in the sun can be damaged.

Warning signs on a bulk deal

A price far below the market for a major brand. No physical premises. Pressure to pay in cash today. A refusal to give serial numbers. A stack of boxes with no maker's labels. The risk on a bulk order is larger than on a single panel, so the checks should be firmer.

Placing a bulk order safely

A sensible order of work.

  1. 1

    Test a small order first

Buy a few units, inspect them and run them. Confirm the model and the output.

  2. 2

    Verify the authorisation

Contact the brand directly. Do not rely on a certificate you were handed.

  3. 3

    Agree terms in writing

Quantity, price, delivery date, inspection rights and what happens if the goods are wrong.

  4. 4

    Stage the payment

Pay in parts tied to delivery and inspection. Keep every receipt.

  5. 5

    Inspect on arrival

Open a sample from each pallet, check for damage and record the serial numbers.

If you need systems installed in volume

Developers, housing societies and businesses sometimes want many systems. In that case you are buying a service as well as parts. An itemised quote, a named installer and a clear warranty path matter more than a low unit price.

Tell us the number of systems, the sizes and the locations. We will say whether it is within what we do. We cover all areas in Karachi.

Ask for a letter from the brand that names the seller, then contact the brand to confirm it.

The unit price may be lower, but check the origin, warranty route and storage. A low price on doubtful stock costs more later.
