Why buyers ask for Jinko by name

Jinko Solar is a Chinese manufacturer that sells panels around the world, and its panels are a common sight on Pakistani rooftops. Trade news reported shipments of its Tiger Neo series to Pakistani buyers, which helps explain why customers walk in and ask for the name.

A brand name is only a starting point. Each brand sells several product lines, and the price, efficiency and warranty differ between them. A quote that says only 'Jinko 585 W' leaves out the detail that decides the value, which is the exact model series printed on the datasheet.

When you ask us for a Jinko price, we confirm the series, the wattage and the quantity first. We quote on the day, because the rate follows the dollar and port stock.

N-type and P-type: the difference that matters

Jinko sells both kinds. The cell type changes how the panel behaves in Karachi heat and over the years.

PointN-type (such as TOPCon)P-type (such as PERC)
Heat behaviourUsually loses less output per degree of heatUsually loses a little more per degree
First-year lossUsually lowerUsually higher
Long-term warranty curveOften gentler, check the datasheetOften steeper, check the datasheet
Price per wattOften a little higherOften a little lower
Best fitHot climates and limited roof spaceTight budgets with plenty of roof

These are general tendencies. The numbers for the exact panel are on its datasheet, so compare those and not the brand.

How to read a Jinko datasheet before you pay

Ask the seller for the manufacturer datasheet of the exact model. Then check these lines against the sticker on the back of the panel.

  • Rated power. The wattage in the model name should match the datasheet and the label.
  • Temperature coefficient of power. This shows how much output drops for every degree above 25°C. A smaller number is better for a city where the average daily maximum reaches about 35.7°C in May and June.
  • Efficiency and size. A higher efficiency means more watts from the same roof area. Compare it with the dimensions.
  • Product warranty and performance warranty. These are two separate documents. Ask who handles a claim in Pakistan, the importer or the shop.
  • Test standards. Quality modules are tested to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730. In a coastal city, ask about IEC 61701 salt mist testing too.

Be careful of relabelled panels

Some sellers pass off a lower-wattage or lower-grade panel as a premium model. Match the model on the box, the label and the datasheet. Check the serial number is present and readable. Ask for an invoice that names the model and shows the sales tax. If any of these three do not match, walk away.

What else changes the final price

The panel price is only part of the cost. Mounting structure, cable, breakers and the inverter all change the total, and so does the height of your roof. Our 3 kW, 5 kW and 6 kW system guide shows how the parts add up.

Tax also moves the total. Imported panels carry 10 percent sales tax, and reports in June 2026 said the 2026-27 budget kept that rate. Ask for the tax on the invoice. The general solar panel price guide explains how to compare quotes on price per watt.

How warranty claims work with us

If a part fails under warranty, we file the claim with the brand and replace the part once the brand approves it. The time depends on the brand's approval. Repairs under warranty are done by the brand. All other after-sales service is done by us.

The price changes with the dollar rate and stock, so we quote on the day. Send us the quantity and the series you want, and we will reply with an itemised price.

N-type panels usually handle heat and long-term ageing a little better, and often cost a little more per watt. Read the datasheet of the exact model to see the real numbers.

Match the model on the box, the label and the datasheet. Check the serial number and ask for an invoice that names the model. Ask who honours the warranty.

Nine panels give a 5.27 kW array. Your roof area, shading and inverter limits decide the final layout.

Yes. We quote loose panels and also supply complete systems with installation.
