Trina Solar was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Changzhou, China. According to its Wikipedia entry, it has been listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange since June 2020.

Reading the model name
Trina panels carry a model code, and the code holds the key facts. Copy it from the quote and compare it with the datasheet from the manufacturer.
Treat the code as a prompt for questions, not as proof. Different generations and sizes use similar names, so confirm each of the points below against the document for the exact code on your quote.
- Power class. The wattage is part of the code or printed beside it. Ask for the datasheet figure at standard test conditions.
- Cell type. Ask whether the module uses N-type or P-type cells. N-type panels usually lose less output over the years, so check the stated degradation.
- Size and weight. A 585 W class panel is about 2.3 m by 1.1 m. Check that your structure and roof can carry the size and weight.
- Glass. Ask whether it is single or double glass. Double glass is heavier and often carries a longer performance guarantee.
- Bifacial. A bifacial panel can collect light from the rear. On a dark rooftop the gain is small, so do not pay much extra for it.

Why the price moves
The panel price in Karachi follows the exchange rate, the import cost, the stock on hand and the sales tax. Imported panels have carried a 10 percent sales tax, and reports in June 2026 said the 2026-27 budget kept the rate.

Checks when the pallet arrives
Count the panels and read each model code against the quote. Look at every panel for cracks in the glass, bent frames and damaged junction boxes. Photograph any damage before the delivery crew leaves. A panel that arrives broken is easier to settle on the day than a week later.
