Solar Panels
Panel brands, wattage, price per watt and what suits Karachi conditions.
Jinko, Longi, Canadian Solar, Trina, Aiko and more are on sale in Karachi. Rankings change every year, so this page shows how to judge any brand yourself.

Ask ten people in Karachi which panel brand is best and you will hear five names. Each has real strengths. Every large brand also sells cheaper and dearer lines, so the name on the box does not tell you which line you are buying.
A fairer question is what a brand offers at the size and price you are considering. The five checks below work for any name, including ones you have never heard of.
We sell several brands, and we quote the model that fits your roof and budget. We do not push one name.
This is a map of the names, not a ranking. Each has its own page where we cover it in more detail.
| Brand | What to know | More detail |
|---|---|---|
| Jinko | Sells N-type and older P-type lines. Check which one the quote means. | Jinko page |
| Longi | Sells panels in several sizes. Model series change often. | Longi page |
| Canadian Solar | Founded in Canada and lists factories in several countries. | Canadian Solar page |
| Trina | A large manufacturer. Ask for the datasheet of the exact line. | Quote on request |
| Aiko | Appears often in Karachi searches. Confirm the line and warranty path. | Quote on request |
We do not publish rankings, because a ranking needs a testing source that we do not have.
Put every quote through these in order.
Is it N-type or P-type? N-type panels usually handle heat and ageing a little better, which suits Karachi.
Find it on the datasheet. A smaller loss per degree of heat is better in a city that reaches about 35.7°C on an average May or June day.
Two warranties apply: product and performance. Ask who handles claims in Pakistan.
Can you get more of the same model next year if you expand? A discontinued line makes a mixed array.
Divide the price of one panel by its watts, and make sure the invoice shows the sales tax.
A model is a specific panel with a specific datasheet. A brand is a company that makes many models. You should compare models, not brands.
For example, two panels from the same brand can differ by several percentage points of efficiency and by a few years of warranty. The same brand may also sell a budget line that behaves like a lower-grade panel from a lesser-known maker.
Ask for the model name in full, and read its datasheet.
Not every cheap panel is bad, and not every famous one is perfect. But with an unknown brand you need extra proof: a datasheet from the maker, test certificates such as IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, a clear warranty path and an invoice that names the model. If the seller cannot show these, the low price is not a saving.
Imported panels carry a 10 percent sales tax, and reports in June 2026 said the 2026-27 budget left it unchanged. Prices also move with the dollar rate and port stock. Compare quotes of the same date, and use our price per watt guide to keep the comparison fair.
Short answers. For your own property, send us your electricity bill and roof details.
Ask on WhatsAppSeveral brands make good panels. The best choice depends on the exact model, your roof, your budget and the warranty path. Compare datasheets, not names.
Not always. Tier-1 is a bankability label. It does not guarantee the quality of the panel in your box.
Some are fine. Ask for the datasheet, the test certificates, the invoice and the warranty terms before you pay.
It is possible but not ideal. Panels of different sizes and voltages need separate strings. Ask your installer to design it.
