What a package is
A package is a set of parts sold and installed together at one price. It usually names the number of panels, the inverter and, in some cases, the battery. The price saves you adding up each part.
That saving is real only when the package is fully described. A line that reads "5 kW solar system" without the panel brand, the inverter model or the structure grade tells you very little. Two packages with the same name can differ by hundreds of thousands of rupees in what they contain.

Use this as a checklist when you read a package.

Things packages often leave out
Ask directly about each one.
- Extra cable. The package includes a standard length. A long run to the inverter costs more.
- Structure upgrades. A raised frame, extra bracing or a special roof fixing may be extra.
- Meter board work. A new breaker box or a change to the board is often separate.
- Grid application. A K-Electric application goes through a PPIB pre-qualified vendor. We are not one, so that cost and step sit outside our package.
- Battery extras. A battery rack or an extra bank may not be included.
Compare two packages
Put them side by side before you decide.

Match the kW
Compare the same panel kW and the same inverter kW. A 5 kW package with a 3 kW inverter is a different product.

Match the brand and grade
Look at the panel and inverter model codes, not the brand name alone.

Match the battery
Compare kWh and chemistry. A tubular bank and a lithium battery of the same label size store different usable energy.

Match the extras
Cable, structure, protection and earthing. Count what each package gives.

Compare the warranty path
Who files a claim and who repairs. Ask for it in writing.
A package is a starting point
Your house, roof and bill are not a standard size. We use packages as a base and adjust the parts to fit. The final quote lists every item and the price of each, so you see exactly what you pay for.
