Best Solar Companies in Karachi

We do not rank companies, because no honest ranking exists without audited data. Here is a checklist you can use on any company, including us.

Why this page has no league table

Search for the best solar company in Karachi and you will find lists. Most are written by the companies on them, or by people paid to promote one. No public body publishes an audited ranking of installers, so a list with numbered places has nothing solid behind it.

What you can do is judge a company yourself. A good choice shows up in the paperwork, the answers to plain questions and the way a company behaves before it has your money. The checklist below turns that into ten checks.

Use it on every company you call, and on us. Where we cannot meet a point, we say so.

The ten-point checklist

Ask each company the same questions and write down the answers.

How we answer the checklist

We would rather you hear it plainly than find it out later.

  • Itemised quote. Yes. Every quote lists each part, the warranty terms and tax.
  • Brand and model. Yes. We name the make and model of each major part.
  • Site visit. Yes. We do site visits. The estimate is free.
  • Warranty papers. Yes. We hand over the warranty papers.
  • Warranty claims. For Crown, we replace the product for the full warranty period and send the faulty unit back to the company. For other brands, we file the claim with the brand and replace the part after the brand approves it. The brand does warranty repairs.
  • Who installs. We sell and install ourselves.
  • K-Electric application. We are not PPIB pre-qualified. We do not file applications. A pre-qualified vendor must file yours.
  • Payment terms. We do not offer payment instalments. We confirm terms in writing.
  • After-sales. We do all after-sales service apart from warranty repairs, which the brand does.
  • Reputation. We have no reviews or past projects to show you yet. We will not invent any.

Compare three quotes properly

Quotes only compare when they describe the same system.

  1. 1

Give every company the same facts

Send each one your last bills, your roof photo and the loads you want to run. If the inputs differ, the quotes will too.

  2. 2

Line the quotes up in a table

List panels, inverter, battery, structure, cable, protection, installation and tax in columns. A blank cell is a question to ask.

  3. 3

Compare the brands, not just the totals

A lower total with a lower grade of inverter is not a saving. Check each model against its datasheet.

  4. 4

    Compare the warranty paths

Ask each company to write down who files a claim, who repairs and how long approval can take.

  5. 5

Check the design against your bill

A system far larger than your units justify is a sales pitch. See our solar calculator guide for a quick check.

Walk away if you see these

A price given before anyone has seen your bill or your roof. A refusal to name brands. An advance for the whole system with no receipt. A promise that the company will get your K-Electric case approved. A claim that the lowest price is a secret deal. Any of these is reason enough to look elsewhere.

Where the cheapest quote goes wrong

The lowest number on the table is often the one that leaves something out. Typical gaps are the protection devices, the earthing, the structure grade, the cable size and the labour for fixing and testing. Each one costs little to omit and a great deal to add later.

Ask every company to confirm in writing that the quote is complete and that no further charges apply except the ones listed. That one sentence removes most surprises.
